Jakapat Koohapremkit is a second-year PhD student in the Department of English Literature at the University of Texas at Austin. 
Their research concentrates on Oscar Wilde, Friedrich Nietzsche, Orientalism, and the translation of English Literature in Asia during the late 19th and early 20th century. Their current focus is a translation of The Mikado in Asia and the construction of a queer archive by means of a weak form of reading with Wilde and Nietzsche's writings as a basis.
